The brain of the defrost cycle, this timer initiates and terminates defrost periods (usually 2-4 times per day) in commercial freezers and refrigerators. We stock mechanical (clock motor) and electronic digital defrost timers with adjustable defrost interval and duration. A faulty timer can cause coil icing or wasteful, excessive defrosting.
